How many times have you’ve been told your symptoms are all in your head? Whether explicitly stated or indirectly implied, we’ve all encountered that one person (or in some cases – many persons) who can’t seem to believe that our fibromyalgia is real.
To be fair – we may not look sick – so it may be difficult for others to believe us since the outward signs of suffering aren’t always obvious. While we may not look sick on the outside, below the surface we are suffering physical, mental and emotional pains that are all too real to us.
Another common misconception is that pain is the only symptom of fibromyalgia. The reality is that those of us with fibromyalgia struggle with a variety of other debilitating and uncomfortable symptoms as well.
Like the pain – these symptoms are not just “in our heads.” They are real and we often have to cope with many of them on a daily basis. Lets take a look at 25 real symptoms of Fibromyalgia:

Find a really good Homeopath. I did, and it is nothing short of a miracle. I was prescribed Arnica 10,000 strength by my Homeopath and my pain disappeared. I had been on Oramorph (after trying everything else) and six strong Co-Codamol a day and now have cut my meds. down by 90%. It does work. Get out there just one more time. Believe. Find a really well qualified Homeopath (go to their governing bod), not just some quack, and do it. I don’t believe in giving up or acceptance. I tried those. Keep fighting! You can. In the meantime, my love to you all. Good luck!

I have had Fibromyalgia since 1991 which was caused by Lymes having been bitten by a tick. That was in my backyard with walnut trees and squirrels which came from the neighborhood park which has woods near it with wild life. I had a stressful job and that really sets me off.
My biggest problem is tingling and numbness in my legs and elsewhere. I’ve been on Gabapentin and Lyrica—neither helped. Off all now.
